About The Project
Kaappaan is an action and thriller based film that talks about the journey of a farmer turned Special Protection Group officer whose duty is to safeguard the life of the country’s Prime Minister who’s been threatened along with solving the other issues at hand. Following the assassination of the PM, his additional responsibility now is to expose the culprits behind this terrible operation and thereby serve his country.
The movie is directed by KV Anand and features some of the notable stars down south, like Suriya, Mohanlal and Arya. Kaappaan was released along with its Telugu dubbed version called “Bandobast”, and went on to become a commercial success with a great response at the box-office collection.
