About The Project
The movie is based on the life of Guru Nanak Ji and his teachings and was directed by Sartaj Singh Pannu. The story talks about his devotion and his motto of spreading the message of “Ik Onkar” meaning one god through Sikhism.
The soundtracks and the overall cinematography are nicely done doing complete justice to
show an epic tale of divinity.
The movie went on to receive a lot of appreciation and accolades for the efforts put into
making this movie. It won the National Film award for Best Feature Film on National Integration – Director Sartaj Singh Pannu, Best Costume Design – Payal Saluja and Best Make-up Artist – Preetisheel Singh D’Souza and Clover Wootton.
