About The Project
Paltan is a movie based on true events narrating the story of the brave hearts at the Indian
Army fighting against their Chinese counterpart in 1965. It celebrates their spirit and keeps the fire of patriotism burning in the hearts of the soldiers that keeps them marching ahead even when the circumstances around them become unbearable.
It’s a power-packed historical war drama where the narrative begins soon after the Indo-Sino war of 1962. The film fares well in narrating a compelling story with a strong climax for a bittersweet victory in the end.
The movie is shot in real locations in an attempt to recreate the 1965 setting and has managed to tell the world this lesser known story of war and victory. The movie was very well appreciated by the Indian Army too. The latest box office collection stands at 10.25 crores.
